That's a great job Chuck. I really liked the pilot shooting his handgun!

Too bad there aren't any 1/350 pirates for the deck or hanging in the rigging.  A Long John Silver (w/peg leg) or Blackbeard would really be dramatic.

Still - good build.

I finished this weekend...

Here's the finished product, with base:  http://imgur.com/AwpBFRz

I'll post a link to the build album in the completed work forum...

you are correct, Gundam is not Steam Punk.  But their roots are the same.  ;)

I have been informed by my daughters that Gundam is not Steam Punk!?! Though I suppose you could make a Gundam into a Steam Punk by adding bronze etc and mixing old fashion with modern weapons.

You make Jules Verne proud!  Very interested to see your next creation.

As my teenage daughter has explained to me......
Steam Punk is all about the warm colors.....bronze,brass,browns, a little bit of black, and a little gold. No bright colors and no silver....
It is also a mixture of new and old with a measure whimsical thrown in.

It will be cool to see what steam punk shows up on the tables!

I've been working on this for a little more than a year, on and off...

It's a wacky idea I had after receiving a box of "junk" kits from an eBay seller...

With luck, I should be done in time for Salisbury...complete with a base.
