Collings Foundation's F-4D and TA-4J!!!

Collings says they're coming up on $10,000/hr for the F-4. Wiki has the cost for the AF to fly an F-4E in 2008 was $6051/hr, but they don't have to pay for insurance.

I read somewhere that it takes about $20,000 an hour to keep an F/A-18 flying.  I imagine an F-4 was similar, adjusted for inflation.

That is a tribute to the folks who maintain these jets in the face of spare part, technical issues & Gov't & Insurance Industry bureacratic demands. I wonder how much it costs to fly an F4C for an hour? Thanks for making sure that we experienced this video.
