CAF Fighters & Bombers Tour –Raleigh Executive Jetport, Sanford, NC May 12-13-14

CAF B29 FIFI was in Wilmington this past weekend, 6/17 & 18.  I only know this because I was heading to Fort Fisher, and it flew over the road in front of me.  the event was not posted on the CAF tour schedule.  It was a real surprise and treat to see.

In 2016, B29 "Doc" completed it's renovation.  So, there are now two airworthy B29s in operation.

I looked at getting a ride...Who wouldn't want to ride in a Mustang!?   But, jeez...I got bills to pay!

In case you may not be aware, the CAF is holding an event in Sanford this weekend - May 12/13/14 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Their website says it is free to come look, but rides are significantly more expensive!
