That was a fun day indeed and seeing the one I had made in 1:1 in the hangar was pretty cool.

Thanks for info Tony. Yes, there was a reason for the cost. Not many folks liked that kit but to most it does look like a M1.

@Lee, he might depending on the number of moves he has had to make.

Think this pilot still has the F-15E model?

The kit is the Trumpeter M1A1HA variant. The turret base needed a lot of work and tracks were a bear to get together. I had resin bits from when I did the Bradley I could hang off the turret and replaced the ID panels with cast ones. It was great for learning about the M1. For the Dragon kit in my stash I have replacement tracks. The Trumpeter kit back in the day was on sale cheap (~$20) unlike most kits nowadays.

Nice looking hog. Who's kit is that? Any other details about the build? I see you added antennas.

I finished the M1A1  and since my Oak Island builder is nicknamed Tank I gave to him. He was over the moon and me only too happy to make it for him.
