Last Month's Meeting Highlights

   Lee Griffin did an excellent presentation, assisted by William Reece, on painting figures using artist's oils.  He also provided a handout with references to resources on the web, as well as helpful tips.


Tuskegee Airmen P-51 Mustang Project

   The Revell P-51B kit has been built, painted, and weathered by Lee Kolosna.  The interior was assembled and painted by Tony Leger.  Bill Leary did the landing gear.  Woody Griffin painted the canopy frames.  William Reece assembled the wings.  Ryan Koshatzky has created a display base, and Lee Griffin has painted a resin figure.  Everything is coming together for final assembly prior to the meeting this Sunday so we can present it to our friend Hawk Hunter, who will use it in his Tuskegee Airmen legacy presentations.


This Month's Meeting

   Ronnie Murray will conduct a demonstration on how to motorize aircraft models as seen in his wonderfully creative dioramas, including the striking Bail Out! Award winner from the Fayetteville Regional contest last year.
