Guys, If we still want to meet at my house in Fuquay the option is still open! Let me know and I will provide drinks and snacks. Again the only restriction my wife has placed on this is no smoking.

Okay folks looks like from the feedback here and on the yahoogroup or email is to defer the meeting to the regular June date. I know this won't make everyone happy, but this the best we can do. Bill Lumbattis had a good suggestion to use your May pass to go to the WS show on the Saturday or as a small group could work something with Ron V at his place. Thanks guys. I'll update the calendar shortly to show the change.

Bill L.

Saturdays are tough at best, seems that's a 'NO PASS GIVEN' day without substantial negotiations in advanced!

A June meeting would be my first choice, on the 2nd Sunday, the 14th, since the 21st (our normal 3rd Sunday) is Fathers Day ( ya think we'd get to do what we want on that day... but nnnnooooo).  That gives me a little more time to progress on the 'jug'.

What about sliding the meeting to a Saturday (e.g. the 9th) ?

Hi Folks

On the way to SJ-AFB for the airshow today...we realized we certainly have a challenge for the meeting date in May due to the Graduation.

A) One week before : consensus is not good because it is Mothers Day
B) One week After : still an option ? but close to Memorial Day as well as other Graduations
C) Hold the meet in June instead
D) Use the May slot to go somewhere like the Charlotte Museum

We need to pick which suits most best. I know as result not everyone might be able to work into what is decided and apologize for the inconvenience that provides. I'll go with the majority.

thanks

Ronv

Instead of changing the date, how about moving the location?

A-hem, yes, quite right!  It would be terrible to have the meeting on Mother's Day.

May 10th is indeed Mothers Day.  That is a no-no for our members and I get sick thinking of all the fights about Mothers and Fathers day I've had over the past 10 years trying to schedule meetings around those dates.

Isn't the 10th Mother's Day?

Hi folks, due to the graduation ceremonies being held on May 17th our room won't be available to us. We are thinking of moving the meeting date up by 1 week to the 10th of May. Please pass back your comments so we can confirm what we will do for May.

thanks
