I just got Melampy's 'The Viper Story, Part I: F-16s of the National Guard'.  He had some 'damaged' copies that he was offering for $15 (See prior post from Ryan).  There is no damage to be found anywhere that I can see.

His books are great for model builders who want to detail the builds ('pimp their ride' - LOL). Search Zone5.com forums if you are interested.
