Amazing model!  Great work.

Nice looking Phantom Bill.  The bare metal areas look so real.

Thanks for the comments felluhs.

Bill I used MM Acrylic FS 36118 "Gunship Gray" for the dark areas and FS 36270 "Neutral Gray" for the lighter areas. I soft masked the demarcation lines adjacent to the intakes and hard masked the anti glare panel. For the walkways I used Gunship Gray and added flat black until I got the shade darker than the Gunship Gray to get the right contrast. I utlized both pre and post shading with variations on the base colors. I used a very thinned terpentine oil wash (pin wash) with a mix of black, blue, and burnt umber. I then did some very limited dry brushing on certain panels. I then hit the model with a flat coat of testors to tie everything together.

Frickin' gorgeous, Bill!  Man, that looks sharp!

I love Phantoms in the Hill Gray scheme.

Finished my F4 at last. MM Acrylic paints and kit decals. Sorry I have not been able to get to the club meetings lately. I will switch shifts soon and will be able to get the meetings more often.
