While I was waiting for the latest layer of putty to dry on the Trumpeter F-100's drop tanks, I got bored and dug into Revell's 1/144 1960(?) 727-100. It had open holes for the cockpit, and the #2 intake is kinda funky, so I replaced them with a clear cockpit part left over from a Daco 737 kit, and an Authentic Airliners resin intake. The cockpit part was almost a drop-in, and the resin part fit pretty goo, even though it was intended for AA's resin 727-100 kit. Here's what it looks like after about 30 minutes' work:


I still have to sand down all of the raised detail and fill the dents that represent cabin windows. I can't decide whether to put it on its landing gear or a stand. What do y'all think?
