Nice job as always Tony. My two cents go for the SEA also just from the graphic standpoint.

I'm thinking it would be a great asset to the show content. The show committee will need to check with the school whether it presents any issues to be on the safe side. Let us find out.

thanks for offering it.

I would like to show a couple of models, but at the same time I would like to set up my road show with my reenactor gear.  By then Bertha, my '42 truck should be fully set up for a hq radio communications truck.  I will have the full 9 yards there, if it is ok.

Tony,
I think most Vietnam vets would associated better with the SEA camo schemed F-4 than the more modern grey pattern.  Add my vote for the SEA F-4.

I know I am not an English major, but should South Pole be capitalized?

One more vote for the 'three-tone' Phantom flier from me. Wish I had some shots of the Eagle Squadron Spitfire / Strike Eagle flyby from the SJ airshow several years ago...

That looks nice Tony. After building the A-10 I have been in a rut and unsure what to build next. After seeing this pic I may just start a Phantom! There are some nice decals of SJ Jets out there right now. Hmmmm

As much as I love the Hill Grey II camo scheme on the F-4, I think the SEA camo looks the best on the flyer. And no, it's not because I've had SEA camo on the brain, lately. Again.  ;D

Thanks Mike,

I finally received permission to use the F4 photo in SEA scheme which is in the era of when the club started. I've not seen a suitable heritage flight shot of ES birds. The mock up enclosed is the one I would like to use and when we visit the base for the tour will bring some copies. The website will be updated next with new content.

Hey, Tony. Any good aircraft pic would look good with your copy. I do like the F4E in SJ markings, since the Rhino is one of my favorite aircraft of the 20th Century. Have you thought of any of the many "Heritage flight" pics from recent Airshows that usually feature a P47 or P51,Maybe an F86 and an F15, F16 or F22 in close formation? Nostalgia in spades. Anyway great job on the mock ups.

Courtesy of Mike Kopak here is the flyer with an SJ F4 taken in Dayton. It looks good and different than the other ES shots folks have seen.

Does anyone have an F-4 from SJ we could snaps some pictures of ?

Thanks, I amended the text and made a mock up with the SJ Strike Eagle Lineup for comparison. I can get a picture of my F-15 model in a similar pose as the 4th Fighter Wing ES P-51 you saw in the first background if we want modern vs vintage ES.

regards,

Since it is about anniversaries, why not a F-4. That is what was flying when our club started.
