Well I am in the process of trying to bring the Hayate back to life and recover from disaster. Like Lee says recovering from disaster is a large part of the process. I do not want to give up on this kit. I got the insignia painted on and it came out ok. A three footer. But I did learn quite a bit in the process and when I start my Tony I will use Montex masks. Its a little glossy right now. I am going to put some decals on and then one more gloss coat and then start the weathering process. Once I flat coat it should look pretty nice. I have always liked the IJA aircraft markings with the stark color contrast and paint schemes.
