Here are a few more pics... I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  :) Just have to work on the external stores, touch up some paint, and finish up the clear pieces. I attached the wheels that came with the seamless suckers for now. Would like to find a set of late F-16 pieces to use.

Very sharp looking Viper there, Joe!

Joe that is looking real sharp. I really like the scheme.

Hi guys, here are some shots of the F-16 I've been working on. I'm pretty happy with the results and need too decide on the load out for it. No bombs though since is an aggressor.

and here's a pic of the canopy after polishing and painting...

Thanks all for the advise. Lee, the MM article was very helpful. I wound up sanding with subsequently finer grades from 600 to 3000 and then polishing with dremel on low speed with tooth paste. Resulted in a very smooth but foggy finish. A dip in tinted Future and it cleared right up. I still have some work on it, but I'm more than happy with how it's progressing.

If I might add my slant to the canopy problem, after polishing the canopy to your liking, then dip it in future. first of all if you make a painting booboo all you need to do is drop the part in windex and soak Probably overnight. second of all, if you paint before dipping, you will end up with a gloss finish which might or may not be suitable for the subject.

Also helps to protect againist fogging from some glues.

Here's a tutorial on how to eliminate those mold seam lines on clear canopies:

Hi Joe,

A Squadron polishing stick is ideal for that seam.

Thanks guys... I hope so. Spent a while last night trying polish the @%#$^#! seam out of the canopy that Hasegawa wisely engineered into it!

Nice work. This is going to look real good.

That is one nice scheme. It will look great when done :)

Here are a couple of pics of what's currently sitting on my bench. Decals, detailing and painting the little parts next.
