Guys: Update on Clyde Just spoke to his wife Joy...she said they did a trach on Clyde yesterday and took the breathing tube out. He came through this part of it fine. Still cannot breathe on his own and the Dr told her yesterday he may never come out of this but that lots of people do. He's now been unconscious or asleep for 16 days.  They have taken him off Propopol, but he still doesn't say anything or fully wake up. The doctors told Joy he would be in the ICU for 5 more days minimum. I'm no doctor but I would say his condition is grave.  She asked me to relay no more phone calls during the day because they have interrupted the doctors several times.  Her suggestion is call at the house after 8 PM.  Keep up your thoughts and prayers. I spoke to his wife Joy today and she was not very optimistic.  She said it's been two weeks and he is still in a induced coma due to the medication they give him.  He hasn't been fully awake since he was admitted and she thinks he is getting weaker.  He still has a tube down his throat and they are going to leave it for now. She said they didn't think there was any paralysis from the stroke but his right side is much weaker than his left as far as she can tell.  The dr.'s say people have bounced back from conditions very similar to this but she isn't convinced.  To those of you with faith in Jesus Christ, we should be praying for him to recover.

Last week I dropped off a get well card from the club and a gift card for his wife. I am told they where happy and thankful for both. He is still at Wake Med and I stopped by today but he was out for testing.
