The color seems to have been used late war and on 109's and 190A and D Models. I have seen some Doras (models) with the sides painted in the pale green color. Its a catchy color and does look nice. Post a picture so we can see how it came out.

One of the great mysteries of camouflage is what the Germans used in the last part of the war for their aircraft paints.  Some argue that the underside of the Dora was plain old 76, but increasingly difficult supplies of raw materials made for wide variations.  Jerry Crandall's theory is that an order came down (since lost) to change from the mid-war grays (74/75/76) to mostly greens (76/82/83) in order to help hide the aircraft on the ground from the relentless Allied fighter/bomber attacks.  He has a piece of Dora wreckage that was clearly painted in 76, but overpainted in a very pale green.  This color has been erroneously referred to as RLM 84, and several model paint manufacturers have produced this color, even though it doesn't officially exist in the RLM.

That said, you can use RAF Interior Green as a starting point, as many modelers do, lightened with white.  I like Spanky's advice to use white and add a few drops of green.  In any case, your model will be accurate because their is no official color except the known evidence of a very pale green underneath.

Nooooo!!!!! Don't lighten up zinc chromate. That green is a very pale light green on the belly of those late D-9s.Start with white and gradually add drops of green to the white until you get the desired color. As you mix it check it against the art work.It can best be described as a mint green.
Start with Tamiya X-2 and add Tamiya XF-71 to it until you get the desired color. The top of the Tamiya bottle cap of XF-71 is almost a perfect match of the light green on the belly. The weird thing is the paint in the bottle ain't even close to the cap.

I picked up a set of Eagle Cals Dora decals.  I'm going to do Rudel's 190 D 9 with a bomb attached.  The underside of the fuselage is light green, but no RLM number.  Anyone have an idea to get me close?  The only thing is was going to do was to lighten some zinc chromate.
