Guys: Due to some unforseen pressures, I'm going to drop out of running the 4th Fighter Group Build.  If it's OK with the members and the Board, perhaps we can do it next year.  I didn't realize that the Bandell Project was for Fayetteville.  Cheers WoodyG

Woody,  Lee gave me some decals for the P-47 "Arizona Pete." When I find the time I will post a picture of the finished model.

Bill, please jog my memory.  Is that P-47 a C, or an early D?  I seem to remember it's a C.

I'd be in for an F-86F. I think I have 4th FW decals.

No, I can't participate in this one -- I will most likely not be in the country during that time.  I am working on the Curt Bandell project I had previously committed to.

LeeK: Don't know what I would do without you correcting me.  I didn't think anybody would be intrested in any of those planes except maybe the A-10.  Thanks for the help.  Didn't think we would want to do any bombers. I don't think we'll get more than 10 to 12 participants.  Are you going to build one? Woody G.

Bill L2: Bill, I didn't know you were doing a 4th Fighter Group P-47.  If you want to do another one, that's fine, OR how about letting me see the one you did and we'll see if it's OK.  These planes don't have to be perfect.  I was going to do a P-47 and the P-51, but I will do the P-51 and a P47N. Woody G.

Woody I finished my Group plane. Its a P-47 Razorback. I am not happy with it. I will have to do another one.

Guys: B. Brown sent me a list of the 4th Fighter Group planes from Hurricanes to F-15s.  Several of them are already spoken for and several have already been built:   Clyde, William, Tony, etc. 3 more are spoken for that I know of, P47, F104 and P51B.  There are about 20 planes on the list, and my suggestion is that we do 10 or 12, for obvious reasons.  I will bring the list to the May Meeting and let the membership decide, remember the club will pay for the kits other than what are volunteered.  The more the merrier, please help us with this project.  Thanks, Woody G.
