I used an MV lense as the light in the wing then took regular cellophane clear tape just a bit bigger than the opening then carefully wrapped it around. I used a new or very sharp blade for any trimming. Lastly I touched up the edge of the tape with some acryl paint matching the surface to blend in.

I am building a Hawker Typhoon. I remember a technique Tony used for the landing lights on the leading edge of the Hawker Hurricane he built last year. I want to use the same method for my Typhoon. I think it was just a matter of using clear scotch tape and the results were very nice. Can you tell me how you did this Tony?
