I must confess that none of it is original...........

I came into a "copy" of the third season of "Bosom Buddies" script and have been plagarizing it without mercy............

The "Wraith of Khan" references are all speculative..............

I have no original thoughts or ideas..............

:o Just amazing what some people can do. Models like that really need to be in their own over the top category. Us mere mortals just can't compete agains't those entries.

Where do you come up with this stuff.....  You're killin me!

Seriously?

Here lies an unadulterated self-esteem check:

Hi! I'm the guy with the 1/72 Matchbox Mosquito.........  I am competing against the dude over there with the Jennifer Aniston haircut..........  Yeah, really........   He completely disected his 1/48 Lancaster and created a fully functional and flying scale aircraft with living miniature pilots and crew...............NO - SERIOUSLY.  He created life through a combination of file scrapings and cyanoacrylate seam accumulations [He did contact Ricardo Montalblan via public telephone and requested a quickbrief on the GENESIS project...............]  He also used the kit issued decals and NO resin............

I think I have a chance to win and more importantly -  I am in the competition..............YEAH TEAM!!!!  Why do I kid myself?

Perhaps I shall return to popsicle sticks, playdough and eating paste..............Coloring inside the lines is really cathartic..........

The F-15C is sexy beyond belief.............

That Lancaster diorama is Hannibal Lecter slurping on a 65 year old Chianti while pondering quantum physics and how they relate to state law on Yielding to a U-turn..........   Morbid and Disturbed...........  I wish I had that focus and skill............. I must give full and total props to that guy.

Someone.

Somebody......

Please cue the Vince Lombardi "Motivational" speech so my life can continue..............

Bill L.

Now that is impressive!

I went through all the pics on HS but didn't see that Lanc.  Is it on the main IPMS site?  I'll keep looking.

You're right.  That F-15C is pretty sweet.  I wonder where the batteries are?  Think he has AA in the engines that have contacts on the outside so they make contact with internal wires???  Might make it a little tail heavy.. No obvious switches.

Bill L.

My bad. Yes it is a one seater not an E Model. Well I thought I saw two seats ::)

The F-15 was done by the same modeler who did the open panel C-130 and B-2 at previous Nationals contests.  The F-15 didn't win Best Aircraft because the judges could see four ejector pin marks deep inside the air intakes.  Best Aircraft went to the cutaway Lancaster.

Thanks Lee for that information. I will have to search out that Lancaster. From the pictures there were some very nice models this year.  But I am always suprised to see so few Russian designed aircraft builds on the tables.

Well, Lee, I guess they invoked the "judging by CAT Scan" contingency.
