I've built the 1/72 F-19; it was neat for a fantasy item. I wonder if they count both the 1/48 & 1/72 in that overall figure?

Matt -- it was the snap-tite B-2 in 1/144, so it is pretty accurate.  I think you are remembering the Testors F-19, which was pure fantasy and also happens to be the best-selling aircraft model kit of all time, with over 750,000 copies sold.

He might be refereeing to the 1/72 kit.

Bill -- Two bottles of Alclad Aluminum were consumed.    I also pretty a healthy dent in my bottles of Duraluminum, Dark Aluminum, and Jet Exhaust.

I bet there are very few people who have completed the Grand Tour of Monogram 1/48 bombers.

That really is a large (in both senses) and impressive accomplishment to have built them all!

The B-58 is just great, nice to read the full story. Congrats to Lee!
