Was going to wait to do a finished post but since you asked. No, it's moving along. To a certain extent it is done. Just need to paint the base.

I retouched up the paint around the glass and wings. Plan to rattle can the base as both airbrushes are down and need a deep cleaning this weekend.



I want to add the blood strip but that's another chance to not finish and mess things up.

I still need to add a flat coat, add so more paint to the middle of the wings then remove front glass mask. Paint stand black. Nothing is glued so there can still be more tweaks if necessary. Not pretty but moving along.

You realize he's building an advanced Tie Interceptor and not a rebel X-Wing?? X-Wing's have targeting  computer.. Tie Fighters just have knobs to turn on their steering wheel !!

Either way, I think you lead them astray with the stay on target quote. Lee and I played along. Steve was playing a different song. 

Actually same song different verse ;-) - forgot the Tie fighters were very basic craft.

Had a few minutes to get a fresh coat on the touch up area, depressed the trigger.....nothing. No air, paint...nothing. Switched out for the other gun. One coat of paint applied. Might use a index card to mask the glass instead of tape so as not to ripe up the paint. Vallejo paint not on a primer can come up easy. I will worry about the old gal after a dunk bath later.

I took one last stab at the fix cause it is bugging me. Need to repaint that area before moving on.
