Attention William Reece: Did you see new Eduard 1/32 F4U cockpit set?

Hi Woody,

Yes, I have no doubt that the existing Tamiya cockpit is good in its own right and will probably suffice for most people. And I know that resin cockpits are often more trouble than they are worth because of the difficulty in making them fit. (This is a well-known Lee K. lament.) I'd like to see a stock Tamiya kit built up next to one with the Eduard cockpit.

Lee G and William: I have built the F4U1, you haven't seen it because I messed up the wind screen, the interior is magnificent out of the box.  I looked at the Eduard Brassin interior; it's very nice, but I feel it is an unnecessary expense.  Cheers, Woody G.

Eduard Brassin has made a new cockpit detail set for the Tamiya 1/32 F4U. Reviewed on Hyperscale - looks pretty awesome.
