It will mostly be with pastel chalk and then sealed with dull coat. - Thanks for the 411!

Looks good Bill.

Careful with the weathering, my understanding is that anything above acrylics can cause cracks in Bandai kits. The main plastic can be fine cause it has paint to protect it but when it hits the joints, weak spots can happen. Might not be a big deal in this case, just thought I would mention it just in case.

All major decals have been applied (finally).

Next up: Some HEAVY weathering and blaster marks!!

Looking good. I agree Bandai kits are the bee's knee. I wish I could just build OOB and make life easier on myself.

This is another in the Bandai 1/72 series of Star Wars model.  I cannot say enough about how well engineered these kits are.  It is simply a pleasure to build, and it's been awhile since you've heard ANYONE in this club say that!! LOL.

This kit is very sophisticated for the scale, as the plumbing is all individual parts that 'snap' in place (and stay there!!) . The depth of the mold is beautiful, and I can't wait to get a wash on it to draw out the details.

It's about 75% complete at this stage, with more plumbing to the engines, decals, and a wash yet to be added.

Merry Christmas to me!!
