<p>I just started to build a B-24. My wife’s uncle was a pilot flying B-24s out of Italy. Eventually I would love to build his actually plane but I don’t have much information to go on &#8211; so for now I’ll stick to just a similar B-24 from the 15th Air Force that was based in Italy. </p>

<p>Like I have said on FB, this kit is a beast. with a lot of sanding and filling the nose and air intakes are on. Wings are assembled and need to be fitted. The sweep mechanism looks like it works in the dry fit but i want to clean up the fuselage before I attach. </p>

Figures are Zvezda, still figuring out where to put them. Interesting to note I almost completely ruined the paint by spraying Tamiya flat clear over not-dry-enough white&hellip;</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I tried fixing the goof up regarding the weathering using hairspray. I forgot to add the spray and i shot the lighter shade over the darker. I used water in the airbrush to wear down the top layer. Eventually, i shot air directly from the air tank and got this result. It looks decent to me!</p>

It has gone well so far getting the wings decent was a challenge for the dihedral that had me attaching a rubber band to hold the joint tight while the glue dried. Also the main gear are very basic in how the kit represents them. I had to reposition the brace to the side then add two&hellip;</p>
