This is my Tamiya humvee that I’m converting to an uparmored M1114. I bought the kit at minicon and it came with a bunch of resin additions however most would not quite be right. This is now a mix of those parts, some bits from cults3d I’ve adapted or plain redid. Others I drew up and then printed

Airfix B-24H 1/72 scale

I just started to build a B-24. My wife’s uncle was a pilot flying B-24s out of Italy. Eventually I would love to build his actually plane but I don’t have much information to go on – so for now I’ll stick to just a similar B-24 from the 15th Air Force that was based in Italy.

Started work on a 1985 Otaki Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate. I’ve got Rob-Taurus canopy and a S.B.S Models resin cockpit set for it. Very nice recessed panel lines for an old kit. I’ve got a bunch of these old Japanese kits that I’m going to work through.

Building Airfix 1/48 hawker hurricane cause I enjoyed the Airfix c-47 build. Molded details on kit are exact opposite of c-47, very shallow panel lines and details. But it looks like a hurricane and I’m having fun.

Current progress with my Revell 1/48 Panavia tornado IDS.

Like I have said on FB, this kit is a beast. with a lot of sanding and filling the nose and air intakes are on. Wings are assembled and need to be fitted. The sweep mechanism looks like it works in the dry fit but i want to clean up the fuselage before I attach.

Here is a progress update on the 1/48 Monogram TBD Devastator. I have the greenhouse painted, decals on, and the torpedo director(scratch built since not in the kit) on so later the week will be gluing on the greenhouse and work on the torpedo which is from true details. Some further weathering is planned as well.

Creating a diorama for the first time, using a mix of AK pigments, Army painter grass, and the Tamiya 109E4/7 kit converted to a jabo with a bomb rack from an Eduard 109. I tried fixing the goof up regarding the weathering using hairspray. I forgot to add the spray and i shot the lighter shade over the darker. I used water in the airbrush to wear down the top layer. Eventually, i shot air directly from the air tank and got this result. It looks decent to me!

I am building this Takom Whippet. Its coming together ok. Some small gap issues, but I think I can solve that with putty. (UPDATE) First coat of paint added. Weathering with a rust undercoat exposed with hairspray.

Here is a couple of pictures of my AmTech P-40 build. It has gone well so far getting the wings decent was a challenge for the dihedral that had me attaching a rubber band to hold the joint tight while the glue dried.
