great shot Ben. looks like over lake alatoona or sidney lanier in n. ga. Im thinking the fin triangle is gray or pale blue. can't remember. also don't recall the details of the emblem. isn't youth wonderful. keep me posted on the new kit. clyde

Just got this one from the Early Jets Yahoo group:


BTW, there is a company called Musthave Models that is releasing or has already released a 1/48 F-86K/L kit. I think it's supposed to be based on the ProModeler kit, with a new fuselage. Haven't seen any reviews of it or where they're sold.

Ben, the 116th fiw had f-86d/Ls when I joined in 59. so I don't really know the answer to the color. my brother in law would know. maybe.

Clyde, didn't once tell me you were in the GA ANG when they had F-84s? John Lozon posted this pic to the Early Jets Yahoo group a week or so ago, and I thought you'd like it. Any idea what color that tail triangle might have been? I'm thinking red.
