Yea Ron! Get well soon. So sorry you were unable to see the result of all of your hard work, but it went smoothly overall and I think that the attendees and vendors were satisfied, and I assume we at least broke even. Looking forward to the debrief at the next meeting.

I made an announcement on Hyperscale of the pictures being posted to the RDUCON results page.

Regards,

Lee G.

ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THE CLUB OWES A LOT TO RYAN, STEPHEN, MATT AND STEPHANIE, JON, SPANKY AND THE OTHER CLUB MEMBERS WHO DONATED THEIR TIME!! They worked really hard leading up to and on the day of RDUCON 2014!

Ryan for stepping in and taking up the duties of soliciting vendors, arranging the contest room at Wake Tech, and a hundred and one other items.....

Stephen for creating the original award certificates, searching for a contest speaker, further consultation on the refinement of the awards and best of plaques, and a hundred and one other items....

Matt and Stephanie for the final award generation and presentation, website design, and a hundred and one other items. That was a lot of work to turn the results into photos with names especially so quick! Shannon said she had a great time and learned a lot! Thanks for being patient with her in a pressure situation.

Jon for doing the raffle! My daughter Brook said that was a tough job! She had great time!

Spanky for being head judge! Not an easy job at all in a pressure situation!

To all the other club members who donated their time on the day of the contest!

Thanks again for your efforts in making RDUCON 2014 a resounding success! It was a pleasure and honor to work with all of you!

We also owe you and yours a great thanks for helping this all go together smoothly, both beforehand and day of. It's a great deal of time and responsibility to make RDUCON work (I think the contest committee exchanged at least an email a day on average over the last 2 months); Ron was our "the buck stops here" man, and the results of his decisions and approvals shine through.

Thanks so much Ron; I'm only sorry that you we not able to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Matt,

Great job putting that together.

Congrats to the club winners. I counted 4 Best of's, 6 - 1st, 14 - 2nd, and 5 - 3rd.

Hope all had a good time.

Here is the link to the RDUCON 2014 results page, featuring 1st place photos (2nd & 3rds would be doable with another volunteer, next time around)

http://ipmseaglesquadron.org/rducon2014/results/

The link is also posted on the homepage and contest page.  Please pass this around to anyone you'd like to (forums and such as well).

Hopefully this will be a nice value add to the participants/winners; somewhere their work/win will be showcased for the foreseeable future.  My hope is that the quick online results and pics will be seen as a perk to attend the next RDUCON!

The info comes off of the judges sheets, so there might be a few issues with spellings/names.  If you spot a major one, please email it to me at rducon2014@gmail.com, and I'll get it sorted.
